National Aquatic Biodiversity Information System (NABIS)
Aim: to develop, implement and operate a National Aquatic Biodiversity Information System to enhance access to biodiversity information and management of human impacts.

Baseline Information on Marine Communities (BioInfo)
Aim: to develop a more complete understanding of the biodiversity in selected marine communities at risk from human impacts, so as to better understand and manage these impacts.

Biodiversity of the Ross Sea (BioRoss)
Aim: to develop a more complete inventory of the biodiversity of selected marine communities in the highly biodiverse and productive Ross Sea region, to help improve management and support development of protected marine areas.

Assessing Threats to Coastal and Marine Biodiversity
Aim: to develop a risk-based framework for consolidating and assessing existing information on threats to coastal and marine biodiversity.

Education and Awareness Package on Marine Biodiversity
Aim: to raise awareness of the importance of marine biodiversity among the public and key interest groups, and regularly update progress across all the marine biodiversity programmes.
