Biodiversity Management Toolbox for Local Government
A biodiversity management toolbox for local government is being developed as part of the Action Biocommunity (ABC) project. The Toolbox will offer an interactive web-based collection of resources for use by local government in biodiversity management. ABC is a partnership between local and central government and funded through the New Zealand Biodiversity Strategy.

Collaborative learning for environmental management
Landcare Research undertakes social research into collaborative learning to improve the quality of environmental management decision making. This site describes this research and provides links to some research outcomes including models for working with Iwi Mäori and the social aspects of ecosystem restoration.

Good Practice Participate
A resource to support effective engagement between government agencies and the wider community, including voluntary organisations, Iwi and Māori organisations in government decision-making processes. Provided by the Office for the Community and Voluntary Sector.

A resource setting out a range of tools for marine biodiversity conservation. Provided by the Department of Conservation and NIWA.
