Every year, thousands of New Zealanders take part in voluntary conservation work. Visit the sites below and find out how you can become a conservation volunteer.

Conservation Corps
The Conservation Corps is run by the Ministry of Youth Affairs to provide young New Zealanders with the chance to take part in conservation projects.

Department of Conservation Volunteers
The Department of Conservation provides opportunities for volunteers of all ages to participate in practical conservation projects, learn new skills and enjoy the outdoors.

New Zealand Ecological Restoration Network
The New Zealand Ecological Restoration Network website lists groups active in restoration work throughout the country. Many of these groups depend on volunteers. You can search the site to find groups active in your area.

New Zealand Trust for Conservation Volunteers
The New Zealand Trust for Conservation Volunteers puts volunteers in touch with organisations working on conservation projects.

Weedbusters
